Limbs in Common Areas
Please take note of any limbs or branches in the Common Areas around your property.
PLEASE DO NOT place limbs and branches in the common areas - the city does not pick these up.   While this is considered city property, these are not normally collected and cleaned up regularly.
 
Unless they are very large, We need these need to be removed.   Clean up day is a great time to bring them down to the yard waste dumpster!    
 
If you DO have very large limbs in the common areas by your home, please let us know. 
 
Ash trees along 114th Street
After our Tree committee met with the city, the following has been determined. 
 
1. Our forestry crews will be given the go-ahead to continue with tree removals.  They will remove every other Ash tree along N. 114th Street, similar to the previous effort.  Other tree removals throughout the park open space will proceed as well.
 
2. A tree replanting plan will be developed for the areas affected by the tree removal.  North 114th Street will have a combination of Red Sunset Maple and Red Oak. We discussed Swamp White Oak at the meeting but after some thought I think Red Oak will be a better match with the Maples.  Please let me know if this change will be an issue.  Other tree species such as American Sycamore, Oaks (Swamp White, Bur, etc.), American Linden, Bald Cypress, Maples, and flowering crabapples will be planted in the park open space areas.  The flowering crabs will be planted near the higher use pedestrian areas.
 
3. A draft of the tree planting plan will be sent to you so you can have a general idea of what will be planted and where.
 
4. North 114th Street will be the number one priority to get replanted so I'll focus on that for getting bids.  We will work toward getting as many of the open space trees re-planted this spring/early summer but may have to finish the planting in the fall.

Property Upkeep
The covenants of Rambleridge include the requirement that homeowners keep their property from deteriorating.  In addition, the city of Omaha has exterior codes that overlap some of our covenants.  Exterior code violations may result in you being ticketed by the city. 
 
Some of the City Code violations include the following:
 
*Deteriorated, cracked sidewalks and driveways
*Deteriorated decks, proches and patios
*Entryways with three or more steps without handrails
*Deteriorated, broken or missing siding
*Deteriorated overhangs, soffits, and fascia or missing gutters/downspouts
*Cracks or holes in the foundation
*Broken or missing windows/storm doors or entry doors or torn/missing screens
*Deteriorated chimneys or masonry joints
*Deteriorated fencing
*Missing address numbers
*Significant amounts of peeling paint
 
If your property has any of these issues, please be aware that the Homeowners Association receives complaints regarding these issues and will report these issues to the city and/or be in touch with violators to discuss having these issues resolved. 
You must take pride in your property and you neighborhood.  Make our neighborhood the best it can be!

Ramble Ridge Garage Sale
Thursday, June 1st to Saturday, June 3rd
Annual Garage Sale for RambleRidge is June 1, 2 & 3!    Time to do that spring cleaning for the annual Garage Sale.   We will be coordinating with Roanake to have the sales over the same weekend!
